Danish coach focuses on defense

Danish coach Heine Eriksen has summoned the list of 16 players that will be part of the junior national team for the U17 European Championship in Macedonia. Eriksen is proud of the great attacking skills of the players, but is also aware that work needs to be done to improve the defensive part of the Danish national team.

Before the U17 European Championship, the Danish team will take part in the strong tournament in Poland, along with the host country, Hungary and Denmark.

“First we get the opportunity to meet Hungary, as we meet in the first European Championship match and what I hope will be an advantage for us because our players are really good at correcting and adjusting. In addition, I think we have a team that is going to score many goals, so we will use the tournament to train defense game” says Heine Eriksen.
