Norway played a good match against Slovakia, winning with an eight goal margin (35-27), above all because of the great second half.
Slovakian team started the match a bit nervous, allowing the favourite to take a 2-0 lead after just two minutes of play. As soon as Slovakia starter playing calmly, they managed to get back and drew do 3-3, 4-4 and then 5-5. They even managed to get a 8-7 lead with the penalty scored by Kostelna, prompting the Norway coach to take a timeout. The Scandinavian team played a bit better, but still couldn’t create a bigger advantage, going to halftime with a two goal lead (15-13).
Norway played much better at the beginning of the second half,doubling the lead to four goals (21-17). As time went on, the Slovakian team looked more and more tired, and Norway knew how to take an advantage, winning this match 35-27.
